Making a daisy petaled rolled beeswax candle
CORE:
1. Cut the orange sheet into 2 pieces, 4 1/2" x 8" and 3 1/2" x 8".
2. Place wick along the short side of the 4 1/2" x 8" sheet and roll with both hands to make the candle.
3. Cut one green sheet in half, horizontally to create a 4"x8" sheet.
4. Line up the botton of the green sheet with the bottom of the orange sheet. The top ? inch of the orange sheet should show at the top of the candle.
5. Match the two cut edges and then roll the green sheet on top of the orange sheet.
PETALS:
1. Cut several 1 inch yellow strips.
2. Round off one end.
3. Cut a semicircle every 1.5 inches or so along the strip.
4. Place a petal around the yellow core just about the green sheet, then curve it downwards.
5. Keep placing petals around the yellow core, curving the petals upwards as you reach the top of the core.
6. Trim the end of the wick so that 1/2 inch extends above the top of the candle.
Making a candy cane rolled beeswax candle
1. Cut one red sheet and one white sheet diagonally.
2. Place the red sheet on top of the white one but offset by about 1 inch.
3. Place the wick along the long end of the white sheet and roll the candle up.
